With campaign season warming up, candidate forums continue to pop up all over the calendar and the county.
Earlier this month the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Montgomery County, a nonprofit group composed of historically African-American fraternities and sororities commonly referred to as the “Divine Nine,” held a forum for Montgomery County executive candidates in Silver Spring.
Here’s what the candidates told the audience in their closing statements at the April 19 event:
