Damascus High School will remain closed Friday for a heating system failure, according to MCPS.
All activities at the school are canceled for the day. Any additional after school activities or scheduled public use of the building are canceled as well.
Grab-and-Go meals will be distributed at the school from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
