A three-vehicle accident caused significant delays on I-495 on Thursday morning.
Maryland State Police say the crash happened shortly after 6:00 a.m. between Connecticut Avenue and Rockville Pike and resulted in one person being transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Three lanes were closed due to the collision at one point, however they reopened when the scene was cleared around 7:00 a.m. according to officials.
