Explore Wineries, Local Produce and Livestock at the 2025 Annual Farm Tour and Harvest Sale

27 different locations will offer free guided visits during the 2025 Annual Farm Tour. On Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, the Montgomery County Office of Agriculture invites residents to explore agricultural facilities throughout the county. 

In addition to the free walking tours, many of the farms offer additional activities, such as tasting products from wineries and creameries, pony rides, and outdoor yoga.

2025 Annual Farm Tour Schedule

61 Vineyard
Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Description: The vineyard will offer free walking tours of the vineyard and tasting room, as well as opportunities to try their handmade wines. 

Bluffing Goat Farm
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Address: 14705 Sugarland Road, Poolesville
Description: Visitors can pet the goats, explore the dairy operations and witness the cheese production process at this Poolesville farm. 

Brown Cow Creamery
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Address: 28600 Ridge Road, Mount Airy
Description: The creamery invites guests to watch the cows being milked and try their homemade ice cream.

Butler’s Orchard
Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Description: Butler’s Facilities will take visitors on a farm tour via tractor. Guests can also meet their animals, ride pedal tractors and slides and purchase produce and other food items.

Button Farm Living History Center
Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Description: The facility invites visitors to learn about conditions of 19th-century plantation lifestyles with tours of their barn, farmhouse, cemetery and museum garden. 

Calleva
Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Description: Visitors can see the facility’s animals and educational order, and enjoy a meal sourced from farm ingredients. Table reservations can be made on the farm’s website.

Camp Olympia
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Address: 5511 Muncaster Mill Road, Rockville
Description: Witness demonstrations of the camp’s activities, including horse riding, sports, and swimming. Pony rides will also be available for purchase. 

Comus Farm
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Description: The over 100-year-old facility invites visitors to see their vegetable gardens, ponds and animals, including alpacas, cows, goats and ponies. They will also sell farm products and offer wagon and pony rides. 

Deere Valley Farms
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Description: Deere Valley Farms celebrates Farm Tour weekend with farm equipment displays, kids’ activities and food on the grill. 

Doc Waters Cidery and Orchard

Description: The orchard will offer opportunities to sample their handmade hard ciders, as well as slushies, snacks and food trucks.

Grateful Gardeners and Floraponics

Description: Learn about sustainable growing and planting facilities while visiting the flower farm. 

Homestead Farm
Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Description: Pick your own fruit and shop for local honey and preserves at this Poolesville farm. 

Honey Acres Farm
Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Description: Tour gardens, purchase produce, visit the petting zoo, partake in games and crafts and enjoy music and artwork. 

King Barn Dairy MOOseum
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Description: The museum invites guests to learn about dairy farms and milking cows. For Farm Tour weekend, they offer two special events: free balloon animals and speakers from Warrior Canine Connection. 

Kingsbury Orchard
Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Description: The orchard offers several varieties of fruit, including peaches, nectarines and pears.

Koiner Farm
Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Description: The urban farm will offer outdoor yoga on Saturday and an opportunity to join their volunteers on Sunday.

Lewis Orchard
Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Description: The farm sells various produce as well as homemade honeys and jellies. 

Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company
Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Description: The farm brews ingredients such as corn and barley to create handmade whiskeys, vodkas and other beverages.

Madison Fields

Description: The agricultural resource center aims to provide opportunities to people of all abilities. During Farm Tour weekend, they will offer pony painting and horse treat making. 

Pleasant Valley Farm Produce Stand

Red Wiggler Community Farm

Description: The Red Wiggler Community Farm will offer music in the barn, interpretative field walks, and education about organic farming. 

Rocklands Farm Winery

Description: Guests can enjoy wine tastings, food, a kids play area and guided tours on both days. 

Stone Stilo Brewing
