Parents of young athletes can hear from top experts at a free panel discussion Wednesday, April 30, in Olney.
The event, “Parenting Game-Changers: Tips for Raising Athletes,” runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Farquhar Middle School. The Olney Boys and Girls Club (OBGC) and Driveway Dads Media are hosting the event.
Panelists will share strategies to help children succeed in sports and life. Coach Carl Parker of Driveway Dads Media will moderate the discussion.
Panelists include:
- Shanay Howard, NCAA eligibility and reclassification expert
- Steve Turner, Gonzaga College High School boys basketball coach
- Dr. John Terrier, board-certified chiropractic sports physician
- Walt Williams Jr., former NBA and University of Maryland player
