Beyond Comics on North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg, was broken into Wednesday at around 6:17 a.m., according to a Gaithersburg Police Lt. John Leache.
Someone shattered the front door and took property, according to Leache.
Police used a canine in ther investigation in an attempt to track the suspect, but that turned up no viable leads, he said. There is no suspect at this time.
Store management was alerted to the break in when the security alarm went off, said an employee who did not wish to give his name.
The front door was broken and “just a bit of cash, no merchandise” was taken, the employe said.
The glass was cleaned up, and “we are all back in business,” he noted.
