On June 28, Gaithersburg’s Bohrer Park will host SummerFest. It will be full of festivities and early Independence Day celebrations. The event is free to attend and is sponsored by Amazon Fresh, Patient First, Chick-fil-A, and The Maryland State Arts Council.
The event will include performances, live music, activities for families and friends, as well as stands for food trucks and local breweries. Some of the vendors include Dogfish Head Alehouse, Freedom Brew, Saint’s Row Brewing, and Waredaca Brewing Company. The night will culminate with fireworks followed by a SummerGlo afterparty.
SummerFest will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:20 p.m.
