Tickets are now on sale

The Garden of Lights returns to Brookside Gardens for its 24th year on Nov. 18. The walk-through holiday light display features one and a half million colorful LED lights shaped into hand-crafted, original art forms of flowers, animals and other natural elements.

New features this year include a winter wonderland scene with tall ice-like formations and falling snow in the Rose Garden and oversized colorful flower forms throughout the formal gardens. All new displays were handcrafted by Montgomery Parks staff.

Pedestrians and cyclists can enter the seasonal light display at the pedestrian gate at 1800 Glenallan Ave. or via a half-mile path beginning at 2000 Shorefield Road near the Wheaton Regional Park Adventure Playground. This is the first year to offer this option.

Garden of Lights is open every night from Friday, Nov. 18 through Sunday. Jan. 1, 2023. The hours are 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. daily. Garden of Lights will be closed from Nov. 21 to 24 and Dec. 24 to 25.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance on Eventbrite.com only and go on sale on Oct. 11. Same-day tickets must be purchased by 4 p.m. No tickets will be sold at the gates. All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.

Light food and drink selections are available for purchase in the Visitors Center.

Brookside Gardens is located at 1800 Glenallan Avenue in Wheaton. For more information, visit the Garden of Lights webpage.
