Family-owned and operated Gene’s Costumes in Kensington welcomed shoppers Monday morning. Located on Connecticut Avenue, the store is open year-round — “everyday but Christmas” — and throughout the year offers costumes for Halloween, Santas, Easter bunnies, school plays and more.
