A 20-year-old man was arrested on the suspicion of stalking and indecent exposure after police believe there may be more victims.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police have arrested and charged Adrean Walls, 20, with stalking, attempted 4th degree burglary and indecent exposure. On Friday, July 10, a woman was shopping in the Kohl’s department store located in the Orchard Center shopping center on Cherry Hill Road in Silver Spring. While shopping, the woman alleges that Walls followed her while he engaged in an act of indecent exposure, according to police.
Police say Walls continued to follow the victim through the parking lot while driving his car, almost hitting two vehicles in the process. He allegedly continued the pursuit, following the victim to her home, where he attempted to enter her house through a window. Walls fled the scene after he was confronted by a family member who was inside of the home, according to police.
Detectives believe there may be more victims who encountered Walls while shopping at the Orchard Center. Police are urging anyone who believes they may have been targeted to come forward.
Walls was arrested on Tuesday, July 21, and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit. He is currently being held without bond.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have been a victim of Walls to call the 3rd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6870 or to visit the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County, MD website.
