Man Arrested In Connection with Thefts and Vandalism in Bethesda

On May 1, 32-year-old Ceolus Shall was arrested by officers from the 2nd District Station and charged in connection with thefts and acts of vandalism.

2nd District officers responded to a 7-Eleven at approximately 1:57 p.m. in the 11500 block of Rockville Pike for a report of an assault.

Following the investigation, officers determined that the suspect, later identified as Ceolus Shall, entered the 7-Eleven store and attempted to steal property. When confronted by employees, Shall threw items at them and kicked the front door twice before fleeing the scene, according to the police.

Officers later located Shall near the 7-Eleven and followed him to the North Bethesda Metro Station in the 5500 block of Marinelli Road. After informing Shall that he was under arrest, he fled on foot. Officers pursued him and quickly took him into custody.
