Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday night in Rockville, police said.
Officers from the 1st District, along with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews, responded at around 10:20 p.m. to the 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway for a reported shooting, according to police.
Upon arrival, officers found a man in a parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds. Police identified the victim as Kamonte Dwayne Frazier, 20, of Washington, D.C.
Officers performed CPR until fire and rescue personnel arrived. Frazier was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which ruled the manner of death a homicide.
As of Monday, no suspect information has been released and no arrests have been made. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
