It wasn’t the worst January snowstorm ever – not a Snowzilla or a Snowmageddon. But it did have hang power and parts of the DMV remain frozen and struggling to return to normal. Still there were moments to remember as MCM looks back at Your Week of Snow.
The blizzard of 2016, Snowzilla, dropped 30-40 inches on our area. And Snowmageddon left 30-38 inches on the ground in early February of 2010. Only to be followed by a second storm a week later that added another foot to the snowbanks.
The good news? Only 50 days until spring.
