Montgomery County Recreation will host the “Hoops & Scoops” basketball clinic at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center on July 9. The event starts at noon.
The clinic will focus on skills such as ball-handling, passing and three-on-three games. Participants will get a chance to play with Montgomery County police officers. Ice cream will also be served.
The event is sponsored by Dick’s Sporting Goods and the Montgomery County Police Department.
