The Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) raised the cost of vehicle registration fees for Marylanders, effective on July 1.
Drivers of passenger vehicles up to 3,500 pounds will now pay $120.50 for registration, a $10 increase from the previous price.
The cost of fees depends on vehicle weight and class. Passenger cars between 3,500 and 3,700 pounds will cost $125.50 to register, while passenger cars exceeding 3,700 pounds will cost $191.50.
The MVA website offers a complete list of registration fees, including specifications for historical vehicles, motorcycles, limousines and other vehicle classes.
