With peak bloom projected for the end of March, Pedego, a California-based electric bike company, leads cherry blossom tours departing locally from Bethesda and ending at Washington’s Tidal Basin.
Tours are on weekends at 10:30 a.m. and cost $70 per bike and $20 for passenger riders on cargo or tandem bikes. Weekday times are also available by appointment.

The tours start along the Capital Crescent Trail and end near the Jefferson Memorial in Washington.
Pedego also offers a tour of national monuments. Customers can also rent bikes at their own leisure.
