Police Investigate Homicide; Man Found With Apparent Gunshot Wounds After Crashing Car

Authorities are investigating a homicide after police said a man crashed his car into a parked vehicle and was then found to have apparent gunshot wounds.

Officers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Spruell Drive near North Kensington on Tuesday at about 9:40 p.m. for a reported single-car collision, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).

Police identified 20-year-old Orlando Alexander Satz, Jr, of Capitol Heights, as the deceased.

Neighbors who heard the crash removed him from the Toyota Corolla. They were providing aid when fire and rescue responded and saw apparent gunshot wounds.

Police responded to the scene and are investigating the death as homicide. An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death, according to police.
