The Montgomery County Police Department has identified the victim in Saturday night’s shooting at Germantown Square Urban Park as Kendall Butler, 34, of Germantown. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Michael Aaron Lynn of Germantown, 39, and Kent Williams Jr.,61, who has no fixed address; and a 27-year-old male were seen leaving the area of Germantown Square Urban Park shortly after the sounds of shots were reportedly heard, police said. All three males were apprehended without incident.
Police said Lynn and Williams, were in possession of handguns at the time of their arrest.
All three men were transported to the Fifth District Station for further investigation.
Following the investigation, Lynn was charged with first-degree murder and other firearm-related offenses, and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
Williams Jr. was charged with several firearm-related offenses.
Both Lynn and Williams are being held without bond.
The third suspect, whose name was not made public, was released following his questioning.

A suspect was arrested and charged in the Saturday night fatal shooting in Germantown Square Urban Park.
Montgomery County Police, National Capital Park Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to Germantown and Middlebrook Roads after receiving a report of a shooting at 11:08 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene. He was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore where an autopsy is expected to reveal the cause of death.
Police have charged a suspect in connection with this homicide. Police are expected to release more information once the victim’s relatives are notified.
