Potomac Synagogue Holds Community Vigil for Israel Thursday

Community members can show their support with Israel Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Congregation Har Shalom, 11510 Falls Road, Potomac.

The vigil is being held in response to the Oct. 7 terrorist attack by Hamas, in which hundreds of Israelis were killed, many more wounded and more than 100, including some Americans, taken hostage.

The vigil is sponsored with multiple synagogues in the county as well as the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, Ramah DC Day Camp, the Jewish Community Relations Council, the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, ADL and AJC.
