Potomac’s Ehudin shines at U.S.Senior Amateur Golf Championship

Marc Ehudin of Potomac represented himself very well at the 71st U.S. Senior Amateur Championship  held at Baltimore Country Club in Lutherville, Maryland.

The 63-year-old Ehudin entered the golf tournament as one of four Maryland players in the field. After stroke play, he advanced to the match-play bracket as the No. 63 seed following a playoff for the final spots.

Ehudin’s run ultimately came to an end in the Round of 64, where No. 2 seed Brian Quackenbush defeated him 2 and 1. Still, Ehudin’s appearance was a notable achievement, particularly given how difficult it is to qualify for a USGA championship.

Ehudin played in the 2024 Senior Open but didn’t advance as far as he did this year.
