Rockville Police, Main Street Host Neighborhood Safety Day with Demos, Prizes and Food

The Rockville Police Department and non-profit Main Street invite the community to participate in safety demonstrations, interact with first responders, and explore health resources at their upcoming Neighborhood Safety Day. The event will take place on Saturday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Main Street Apartments, 50 Monroe Place.

Event attendees can learn about bike and pedestrian safety, practice procedures for traffic stops and learn about the work of police dogs.

In addition to educational activities, Neighborhood Safety Day will feature a DJ and food trucks.

If visitors attend enough activities, they can receive a small prize from the Main Street table, as well as entry into the grand prize raffle for the chance to take home a basket of video games or a Wegmans gift card.

Neighborhood Safety Day is free and open to all. Parking information can be found here.
