Rockville’s Hometown Holidays Festival Returns for Memorial Day Weekend

Rockville’s Hometown Holidays Music Fest returns Memorial Day weekend with two days of live music, food, and family fun. The free event runs from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, at Rockville Town Center.

The festival features two stages of local and regional performers, a food court, a kids zone, and an artisan market. Check rockvillemd.gov/HTH for the full performance lineup.

Marsha and the Positrons and Ms. Niki’s Music Class headline the children’s entertainment lineup. Families can also enjoy crafts, a giant Connect 4 game, and other kid-friendly activities.

Food vendors will offer a wide range of options, including a preview of this summer’s “Explore Rockville: Global Bites” campaign. Vendors include Kusshi Sushi, Pizza Monkey, Scratch Kitchen, Pop-Up Poutine, and more.

Shoppers can explore handmade candles, jewelry, and other unique creations in the artisan area.

Morning yoga with Thrive Yoga kicks off at 9 a.m. Sunday at the Town Square Stage. Attendees should bring a mat, water, and a friend for the free outdoor session.

Beverages, including soda, water, and adult drinks, will be sold at two beverage booths. Visitors can also stop by sponsor, community, and political booths throughout the event.

Organizers encourage guests to bring beach chairs or blankets for seating but not within 100 feet of the stages. Visitors may bring outside food. The festival will go on rain or shine for most activities. Check rockvillemd.gov/HTH for weather updates and the full event schedule.

The festival is smoke- and vape-free. A sensory tent will be available near the first aid booth.
