The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring was voted a top aerial adventure park in the U.S. for 2025.
On Thursday, MCM stopped by the park — known for its aerial forest obstacle course in the trees with climbing and zip lines — to learn the ropes.
The park — the largest tree-based adventure park in the U.S. — came in second place in USA TODAY’s annual “10Best” awards. It is number one on the mainland, placing behind a park in Hawaii.
This is The Adventure Park’s second consecutive year placing in the competition. Experts nominate parks for the competition and readers vote for the winners.
General admission to the aerial forest is $69 for ages 12+, $59 for ages 7-11, and $22 for six-year-olds (age minimum for climbers is six years old). Reservations can be made online and the park is open seven days a week.
The park is currently open through December, followed by a short off-season before reopening for the new season next year.
