Strathmore Hosts WoCo Fest 2025 With Concerts, Workshops and Community Events

WoCo Fest 2025 will return to the Strathmore campus May 30–31, highlighting works by women and gender-marginalized composers. Boulanger Initiative and Strathmore co-present the event as an official WorldPride Partner.

The festival features LGBTQ+ and allied artists who bring bold innovation to contemporary music. Events will take place at The Mansion and outdoor spaces across the Strathmore campus.

Friday’s Opening Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at The Mansion. The concert includes performances by Chao Tian, Marcolivia Duo, Leah Claiborne, Ami Dang, the New Choir of Mt. Vernon, Boyd Meets Girl, and The Alex Hamburger Quartet. Tickets are $30.

Saturday’s programming starts at 1:30 p.m. with pay-what-you-can entry to The Mansion. The day includes composer workshops, educational sessions, and community booths. Featured artists in the Music Room include PUBLIQuartet, Seraph Brass, Tapestry, and Pamela Z. Each concert costs $30 or $100 for an all-day pass.

Free outdoor performances, presented with WorldPride partners, will run throughout the day. Food trucks will be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs.
