A two-year-old boy who fell from the 15th floor of the Enclave Apartments in the 11200 block of Oak Leaf Drive in White Oak suffered a broken leg and multiple internal injuries but is expected to survive.
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police Special Victims Investigations Division are investigating the incident that occurred Thursday at 2:11 p.m.
Police officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services personnel responded to the scene after learning that the young boy had reportedly fallen from a balcony and landed in the bushes, fifteen stories below.
No criminal charges have been filed at this time. Detectives are continuing to investigate what factors contributed to the fall.
