Maryland is Ranked 3rd Best State for Working From Home

Maryland is the third best state for working from home according to a new study.

The finance website WalletHub released the study, “Best States for Working from Home ,” Monday.

Maryland received a score of 63.96 on a 100-point scale based on 12 relevant metrics. The study compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across two key dimensions, “Work Environment” and “Living Environment.”

The top five best states for telecommuters are Delaware, Utah, Maryland, Connecticut, and New Jersey.

The data used in this study were collected from U.S. Census Bureau, Global Workplace Analytics, HighSpeedInternet.com, Internet Crime Complaint Center, Wakefield Research, U.S. Energy Information Administration, BroadbandNow, BroadbandSearch, American Home Shield Corporation and Zillow.
