Wheaton Celebrates Diversity During Annual Arts Festival, Parade

There was plenty of music, floats, art and dancing during Sunday’s ninth annual Wheaton Arts Parade and Festival.

Groups paraded through the Wheaton Triangle, ending up in the Marian Fryer Town Plaza where there were plenty of musical groups, food and tables filled with art for sale. There were three stages where musicians and dancers performed.

“Today is about celebrating our beautiful diversity,” exclaimed Councilmember Natali Fani-González, who represents the Wheaton district.
