Wheaton Hosts First Ever ‘HalloWheaton’ Bar-Hop

Montgomery County’s Wheaton Arts & Entertainment District will host Halloween-themed events for adults and children this upcoming weekend.

“HalloWheaton” begins this Saturday, featuring a trick-or-treating themed bar hop. The bar hop is for ages 21 and older, and takes place at Wheaton’s Marian Fryer Town Plaza, located adjacent to 2424 Reedie Drive.

On Sunday Wheaton hosts family-friendly events. Running from noon to 4 p.m., Marian Fryer Town Plaza hosts events including Halloween crafts, s’mores roasting, pumpkin painting, and costume contests.

“Whether you are an adult wanting to explore Wheaton’s bars and restaurants at our inaugural ‘bar hop’ on Saturday, Oct. 28, or a family seeking free, spooky activities on Sunday, Oct. 29—‘HalloWheaton’ offers lots of fun,” Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich said.

All events are free, with food and drink available for purchase. More information on the festivities can be found here.
