Action Youth Media will host its annual Montgomery County Youth Media Festival on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring.
The festival celebrates the creativity and impact of young filmmakers and artists in the Washington area by showcasing youth talent through screenings and dialogue. Participants include middle and high school students, along with young adults ages 18 to 25.
A grand prize of $500 will be awarded to the winner of a film competition.
