Montgomery College (MC) offers a $500 tuition scholarship known as “Raptor Ready.”

The scholarship is for Montgomery County residents who graduated spring 2022 from a Montgomery County high school. Students must also be registered for at least six MC credit hours this fall.

The application is due by Aug. 1 and is only applicable for the fall 2022 school year. The first 3,000 to apply are considered for the scholarship. Applications received after the first 3,000 are placed on a waitlist.

Students enrolled at another college or university that plan to also take courses at MC, referred to as “visiting students”, are not eligible for the scholarship.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Maryland State Financial Aid Application (MSFAA) are not a requirement, but are recommended for other MC awards.
