Avinab Das, a Thomas Wootton High School student, earned a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange Scholarship from the U.S. Department of State.
Das was one of 250 high school students from across the country to be awarded the scholarship. He will spend a year in Germany from August to June 2025 in the bilateral exchange program between the U.S. Congress and the German Bundestag, its parliament.
The program is administered through the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
Das will live with a host family and attend high school in Germany.
