A motorcyclist was pronounced dead Sunday at 1:11 p.m. near the intersection of Mouth of Monocacy Road and Dickerson Road in Dickerson following a collision between the Kawasaki motorcycle and a Subaru Ascent.
A Montgomery County police preliminary investigation noted that the motorcyclist was headed west on Dickerson Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the driver collided with a Subaru that was headed south on Mouth of Monocacy Road at the intersection.
An adult male motorcyclist was pronounced dead on scene.
Earlier Sunday, at 3:09 a.m., police and fire and rescue personnel responded near the intersection of Norbeck Road an East Gude Drive in Rockville following a report of a single-vehicle collision that resulted in a rollover.
A preliminary investigation indicated that a gray 2025 BMW was traveling east on Norbeck Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle crossed the median into the westbound lanes, left the roadway, and landed in a trench.
Upon arrival, responders located three adult males. Two were pronounced dead at the scene and the third was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
