Three juveniles were charged with robbery following an assault at Richard Montgomery High School that led to a lockdown of the school on Jan. 13.
Rockville City Police went to the high school after learning of an assault inside the school and a possible handgun displayed off school property.
An investigation by police, high school staff and Montgomery Public School security determined that several Gaithersburg High School students entered Richard Montgomery with the help of students from Richard Montgomery.
According to police, the Gaithersburg students were led to a restroom during school hours and were robbed by several students. Police are still investigating whether there was a handgun displayed.
The three male juveniles charged were 14 and 15 years old.
