3 Suspects Identified in Armed Assault at Hotel in Takoma Park

Three suspects were arrested and charged with armed robbery in connection with an assault at the Quality Inn in the 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Takoma Park on Feb. 18.

According to Takoma Park Police, two victims and the three suspects were hanging out together when one of the suspects pulled a handgun and robbed the victims. The suspects then fled.

The victims provided descriptions of the suspects. Takoma Park and Prince George’s County police identified the two male and one female suspects. All three were charged with armed robbery, first degree assault, theft and conspiracy to all charges.

Florence Unoamaka Anwuzia, 31, of Hyattsville, was being held in the Clarksville Detention Center. She posted bond and was released.  She currently has an open warrant through Takoma Park for the incident.

Wenceslas Palle Sende, 31, of New Carrollton is being held at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections on unrelated charges.

Luis Ivan Marquez, 25, of Silver Spring, is being held at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections for a homicide.  An arrest warrant was submitted for Marquez for his role in the Takoma Park incident.

The investigation is on-going.
