1. Tax-Free Week Underway: Maryland’s Tax-Free Week for back-to-school shopping runs through Saturday. See more here
2. Reservations for Indoor School Facilities: Reservations open today for use of indoor school facilities during the upcoming school year. These facilities include gymnasiums, auditoriums, classrooms and other spaces that can be used for meetings, cultural events and youth activities, according to the county. 3. Fair Countdown: It is four days until the annual Montgomery County Agricultural Fair returns. See more here
4. Lake Tour By Kayak: From 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Black Hill Discovery Center in Boyds, residents can join a leisurely kayak tour of Little Seneca Lake. Basic paddling experience is necessary. $30 fee. Registration required. See more here
