2. Court Case: A lawsuit seeking an opt-out option for LGBTQ+ storybooks in Montgomery County Public Schools will go before the U.S. District Court for Maryland in Greenbelt at 10 a.m.

4. Free Concert: From 6-8 p.m., Polyphony Marimba will put on a concert at Veterans Plaza in downtown Silver Spring.

5. ICYMI: For the past two-and-a-half years, Manuel Vera, 73, has been washing, degreasing, filling up the tires and making any necessary repairs to 480 bicycles. They have all been donated, at first to residents in the Silver Spring area and now mostly to Afghan refugees.
