3. Trone Announces Bid to Retake Former Congressional Seat: David Trone announced Thursday that he will run in the 6th District of the U.S. House of Representatives, a seat he held from 2019 to 2025. U.S. Rep. April McClain Delaney, who currently holds the seat, compared Trone’s decision to reclaim his seat “after he abandoned the district to run and lose for Senate” to “the arrogance of [President Donald] Trump.”

4. Bike Parks Closing For Winter: Starting today, Wheaton Gravity Park, The Pit at Fairland Bike Park, and the South Germantown Bike Park will be closed until mid-March in order to protect trails and prevent injuries from features that could freeze and get slippery. See more here
