2. Potomac sewage spill: Officials continue cleanup and monitoring nearly a month after a major sewer line collapse in Montgomery County released raw sewage into the Potomac River.
3. Weather: Today holds periods of rain, cooler temperatures, and morning fog, according to the National Weather Service.

4. School board: The Montgomery County Board of Education will meet starting at 4 p.m. at 15 West Gude Drive in Rockville. The agenda includes tentative adoption of the fiscal year 2027 operating budget. The meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube @MCPS-MD.
