1. Weather: Expect a 20-30 degree drop compared to earlier this week, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Council: At 11 a.m., the County Council is set to take a final vote on the operating budget.
3. School Board: The Board of Education meets at 4 p.m. Discussions on the operating budget and meal prices are set to take place after 5 p.m.
4. 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament: From 3:45-5:45 p.m. at the Mid-County Community Recreation Center, youth ages 11-14 can participate for free in a 3-on-3 hoops tournament. Pizza, snacks and drinks provided. Pre-registration required. See more here
5. Noyes Library: At 5 p.m. Noyes Library for Young Children in Kensington temporarily closes to begin renovations. The library on Carroll Place is expected to reopen in the fall of 2027.
