1. No School: Montgomery County Public Schools are closed for Memorial Day.
2. Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade: At Rockville Town Center Park located at 131 Gibbs St. — Musical tribute at 9 a.m. and ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at North Washington Street and Martins Lane. See more here
3. Pools: The county’s seven outdoor pools will be open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and from 3-6 p.m.
4. Transportation Schedule: Ride On bus service will operate on a Sunday schedule. Click here to see the local transportation schedule for Memorial Day.
5. Trash and Recycling: No county trash and recycling collections today. Collections will slide by one day.
