1. Pilot Drone Program: The county police are working to pilot a program using drones to respond to emergency calls. Wednesday, the police met with residents in Silver Spring to describe the what the program is and what it is not. In this video Montgomery County Police Captain Jason Cokinos talks about the drone program. Interested residents may attend a similar meeting next Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wheaton Library and Recreation Center.
