Montgomery County residents are invited to stay active, take part in community events, and enjoy a summer filled with engaging activities, as Montgomery County Recreation begins its summer 2025 programs.
Registration for most programs and activities will open on Tuesday, May 13, at 6:30 a.m. For county residents interested in senior programs—including Day Trippers, Bone Builders, and Senior Outdoor Adventures—registration will open that same day at 9 a.m.
Registration for non-county residents opens Thursday, May 15, at 6:30 a.m.
“We encourage all county residents to commit to staying active and healthy this summer,” said Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich.
Financial assistance through the Rec Assist program is currently available, providing up to $400 per eligible family member for qualifying county residents to use toward program fees.
Online registration is available and encouraged at ActiveMONTGOMERY. In-person registration will also be available at 6:30 a.m. on May 13 at the county’s aquatic centers and the recreation administrative office in Wheaton, located at 2425 Reedie Drive, 10th floor.
Other recreation centers in Montgomery County will accept applications during their regular business hours.
