As part of the county’s Recycling Awareness Week, residents and teams who are committed to waste reduction were honored during the 26th annual Recycling Achievement Recognition Awards on Tuesday in North Bethesda.
Awardees included students who are working to advance sustainability in Montgomery County.
Other awardees included housing properties, schools, places of worship, and businesses.
