
Police said a man was recently arrested and charged in a shooting outside Bowlero Bethesda in March.
Devon Edwards, 22, of an unknown address, was arrested last Friday by the Metropolitan Police Department and taken to Montgomery County, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). He is being held without bond.
According to police, officers responded to Bowlero Bethesda on Westbard Avenue at about 12:22 a.m. Saturday, March 29 for reported gunshots. They found multiple shell casings. After reviewing surveillance footage, detectives determined two separate groups exchanged gunfire before leaving. Two people had minor injuries from broken glass. No one was shot.
During investigation, Edwards was identified as one suspect who discharged a gun. Detectives got an arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, reckless endangerment, and conspiracy to commit malicious destruction of property.
