1. Council President Briefing: Council President Kate Stewart holds a media briefing at noon to discuss Council updates and highlight new legislation to be introduced during Tuesday’s Council session.

2. Council Committee Meetings: Three Council committees meet today:
- Public Safety committee meets at 9:30 a.m. – 7th Floor Hearing Room | Agenda.
- Economic Development and the Public Safety committees meets jointly at 9:45 a.m. – 7th Floor Hearing Room | Agenda.
- Planning HP committee meets at 1:30 p.m. – 7th Floor Hearing Room | Agenda.

3. Early Release Day: Montgomery County Public Schools dismiss students early today for a scheduled early release day. And Tuesday is the final day of school for the year.
