As Gov. Wes Moore revealed to a packed auditorium at Leisure World on Tuesday evening, he finds the spirit of the Administration’s landmark legislation cruel and audacious.
He assured the audience that Maryland will stand strong despite external pressure.
Moore has announced his candidacy for a second term. As of this writing, two other candidates have declared. Businessman and political newcomer Ed Hale will oppose Moore in the primary. Republican John Myrick will run for governor with Brenda Thiam as his lieutenant governor.
