U.S. Adaptive Open Underway in Rockville

The U.S. Adaptive Open happens Monday through Wednesday in Rockville. Golfers with impairments from around the world — including Montgomery County — play their rounds at Woodmont Country Club.

After the first round Monday, MCM caught up with Ford Martin, a Potomac native with bilateral neurogenic clubfoot who plays this week. He returns to the green Tuesday morning.

MCM also talked with Martin last week ahead of the championship.

Admission to the championship is free and attendees can park at the club, according to the United States Golf Association.
