The next installment of Montgomery County’s United in Service and Support Information Sessions will be held Wednesday, July 23rd at 7 p.m. Councilmember Marilyn Balcombe will join a variety of guests to discuss “Pursuing New Opportunities: Advancement through Workforce Training and Certification Programs.” Representatives from WorkSource Montgomery, Montgomery College, and the Universities at Shady Grove will participate in the program with Balcombe.
The session provides resources and opportunities to Montgomery County residents. Balcombe aims to highlight opportunities for those laid off recently from their jobs in the federal workforce. Balcombe wants to create a space for local leaders to come together to support the community.
This event is a part of a biweekly series hosted by the Montgomery County Council.
