The victim in this fatal two car crash was identified by Montgomery County Police. Mary Elizabeth Moody, 71, of Germantown was killed in the crash.

Montgomery County Police detectives are investigating a fatal car crash at Great Seneca Highway and Mateny Road in Germantown that occurred at 10:35 p.m. Monday.
An adult female driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to a preliminary investigation, an adult male driving a black 2021 Mazda was headed north on Great Seneca Highway when he struck a white 2018 Subaru, which was turning left onto Eastbound Mateny Road. The impact caused the Subaru to roll over and eject the driver.
The male driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
County fire and rescue personnel provided lifesaving efforts at the scene.
