Vibrant colors paint a picture of summer nostalgia at the county fair. A mural at the fairgrounds in Gaithersburg celebrates 75 years of the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair.
James Favata and Eric Goulette, of In The Paint Murals, started painting the 75th anniversary piece last year. MCM stopped by as they were doing the finishing touches Friday.
The mural covers the exterior of one side of a building next to Old MacDonald’s Barn. Now in its 76th year, this year’s fair runs through Saturday.
